Some highlights of the day:
- Exercise with Serena
- AM session – “Hidden Japan” – presentation by Doug Ojiri of 3D Travel
- Lunch buffet – catered from Katsu Cafe
- PM session – Line Dancing – led by Serena Cottle. Serena teaches line dancing to seniors and handicap adults in addition to many other forms of exercise. Try it, you’ll like it! However, if line dancing is not your cup of tea, you are welcome to stay and observe. It’s sure to be entertaining!

Help Us Restore Our Classrooms at the Poston Site

We encourage volunteers to join us from our Japanese American community to work and share their stories with HistoriCorp volunteers who will be coming from Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, New Mexico, Pennsylvannia, Texas, and Washington.
Each week volunteers will receive an orientation to Poston, its unique history with the Colorado River Indian Tribes community, a film screening of the short film, The Blue Jay, and campfire chats.
